About The Position

You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cocktail crafting that are hallmarks of our speakeasy experience. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a warm and welcoming cocktail experience. Requirements
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
- Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required
- This job requires constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
- Manage the reservation system, taking guest bookings and accurately recording details
- Seat guests promptly and appropriately, considering special requests and preferences
- Communicate with guests regarding wait times, menu information, and restaurant promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to date
- Collaborate with the bar team to ensure smooth seating and efficient table turnover
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Maintaining knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
