About The Position

Fortuna Health is redefining the consumer experience for Medicaid, helping millions navigate coverage from eligibility and enrollment to renewal. Backed by prominent investors, the company is experiencing rapid growth and seeks a Founder Associate to act as a force multiplier for the founders. This role is crucial for managing logistics, ensuring follow-through, and handling operational details to allow founders to focus on high-priority growth, operations, and product/engineering work. The position offers direct work with the CEO and founders, exposure to early-stage company operations, and significant ownership from day one, serving as a launchpad into various startup roles.

Requirements

0-1+ years of experience (recent graduates welcome to apply)
Ability to work 5 days per week in-person in NYC
High Agency & Autonomy - ability to identify and fix issues without explicit permission.
Clear Communication - sharp written skills suitable for drafting investor updates and internal memos.
Exceptionally Organized - natural ability to bring structure to chaos and anticipate next steps.
Comfortable holding many threads at once in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Discreet - ability to handle sensitive company information appropriately.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage the CEO's calendar and attention, defending focus time, resolving conflicts, and filtering requests.
Turn meeting notes and ad-hoc requests into structured action items, tracking and driving them to execution.
Project-manage select operational work streams involving the team and enterprise customers, tracking deliverables and deadlines.
Architect and execute monthly All-Hands, company retreats, and external partner events.
Serve as a utility player for the CEO, partnering with the COO on core business operations, workplace experiences, and special projects.
