About The Position

This role is with an Atlantic portfolio venture focused on precision manufacturing and CNC production in Germany. ANCHR acquires and develops medium-sized manufacturing companies, aiming to build Europe's most powerful industrial platform through modern manufacturing control, AI-driven process optimization, automation, and a clear operational approach. The Founder Associate will work directly with the founders across key areas including acquisition, operations, strategy, and scaling. This is not a traditional analyst role; it involves close proximity to real decisions, businesses, and results. Responsibilities can range from analyzing potential acquisitions and preparing discussions with entrepreneurial families to developing financial models, structuring deal processes, and collaborating with production managers on automation, efficiency, and operational control directly within factories. The role requires a continuous shift between strategy and implementation, offering a steep learning curve in understanding industrial businesses and platform building.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in industry, manufacturing, and technological transformation.
  • Understanding of production processes, automation, or industrial value creation.
  • High degree of personal responsibility and execution orientation.
  • Ability to switch between operational details and strategic thinking.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Fluent German and very good English.
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week within Germany.
