About The Position

The Foundations Officer develops and manages strategic relationships with foundation partners and prospective funders to secure philanthropic support for local and system-wide priorities. The role identifies and qualifies new funding opportunities, aligns organizational initiatives with foundation interests, and develops funding strategies and proposals that advance mission-driven goals.

Working collaboratively across the health system, the Foundations Officer leads foundation engagement, manages proposal and reporting activities, and coordinates foundation-supported projects. The position maintains accurate donor records, monitors fundraising progress, and updates leadership on pipeline activity, funding opportunities, and stewardship outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least three years of progressive philanthropy experience.
