About The Position

Provide proactive account management, administration, and operational oversight for trust and investment advisory relationships with not-for-profit (NFP) organizations, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience. Partner with Foundations & Endowments Specialty Practice (FESP) Client Managers to ensure client accounts are administered in compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and established procedures while supporting clients' day-to-day service needs.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of client account management, administration, and compliance and risk management experience with trust, investment advisory and/or related not for profit or other experience.
  • Proven success in critical thinking, document analysis, and problem solving skills
  • Positive "can do" attitude and ability to work well within a Team environment in serving FESP clients.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time and personal management

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Account Manager and provide high quality account management and administration for FESP Team clients.
  • Account Management includes proactive client service with minimal oversight, client retention, new client relationship and account onboarding, account closing coordination and lost business reporting, solving client issues, and various client reporting requirements.
  • Partner with one or more FESP Client Managers to meet and exceed client needs and objectives.
  • Directly handle or provide direction to FESP Account Specialists and other FESP support teammates for client administration tasks.
  • Complete and ensure all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Client Identification Program (CIP) requirements are met. Includes all requirements for new clients and required updated documentation for existing clients.
  • Coordinate effectively to clear Reg 9 flag exceptions. Requires document review and analysis; requests for additional documents and/or information from clients; partnership with Reg 9 Center of Excellence teammates; and timely and efficient flag exception resolution.
  • Collaborate with FESP Client Managers, Business Development Officers, Investment Managers and other Bank partners to support new business efforts. Participate in RFP responses as needed.
  • Coordinate all account opening requests, submit executed documents and account coding requirements in the New Account Opening (NAO) system. Manage client expectations and communicate effectively during the account opening process, providing timely updates. Ensure fees are set up accurately and verify fees for first two fee cycles and annually going forward.
  • Respond to client audit requests and submit SOC1/SSAE16 report requests timely.
  • Coordinate effectively and efficiently with Operations partners, outside consultants, outside investment managers and other client related vendors.
  • Ensure accounts are coded properly for tax reporting and coordinate with and respond to requests from tax partners.
  • In consultation with FESP Client Manager, manage Private Foundation required minimum distributions (RMDs), facilitate and prepare discretionary actions requests, and distribute grant payments prior to fiscal year deadlines. Prepare annual unitrust valuations and ensure beneficiary payments are updated.
  • Respond to client and teammate requests timely and with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Manage risk, compliance, and expense control by following procedures, processes, and minimize operating losses. Adhere to appropriate document and record retention processes.
  • Participate in projects and other initiatives as requested.
