About The Position

CEdge is sourcing a mid-level Foundations and Collections SME for GTLSS. The role supports GEOINT collection requirements and strategies instruction, course maintenance, and technical expertise for learning solution implementation across the NGC curriculum. Candidates must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS. A Mid-level Foundations SME shall be able to build upon the knowledge taught at the introductory GEOINT Tradecraft learning level (1000), in order to effectively handle fundamental (2000) GEOINT Tradecraft learning level tasks. At this level the SME shall have a thorough understanding of the concepts and skills related to their content area(s) and can apply these skills in routine and nonroutine situations. They shall be able to apply tradecraft skills through problem-based exercises culminating in exams. They shall demonstrate solid tradecraft skills and an understanding of how their tradecraft contributes to addressing key intelligence questions. A Mid-Level Foundations SME is primarily focused on providing support to Fundamental (2000) GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, with a secondary focus on Intermediate (3000) GEONT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, both levels within the Foundations and Collections content area.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing expertise in the applicable GEOINT tradecraft, methodology, technology, or related subject matter area.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification is part of the LCAT qualification framework; candidates with classroom or adult-learning delivery experience should be prioritized.
  • Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired.
  • GEOINT Collections Requirements and Strategies, including the RFI Management Cycle, GEOINT Collection Management, and the intelligence profession.
  • All-source collection management, imagery analysis, and geospatial analysis exposure.
  • Application of collection tradecraft, strategy, methodology, and technology in learning events and problem-based exercises.
  • GEOINT Information Management System (GIMS).
  • Strategy Designer App and Automated Strategy Theory.
  • JEMA, MIST, and all-source data feeds.
  • Classroom, virtual, blended, or desk-side training/facilitation environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver NGC GEOINT curriculum through approved modalities such as classroom, blended, synchronous/asynchronous online, video, and performance support.
  • Complete course preparation and session management activities before, during, and after course delivery, including classroom/session setup, coordination, student support, and closeout activities.
  • Support NGC instructor certification, qualification, and sustainment expectations, including course qualification activities and status reporting as required.
  • Maintain and update assigned courseware/curriculum materials, including annual or ad hoc maintenance tasks assigned through the NGC Course Task Tracker.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support development, dry-run, pilot, qualification, and launch of new or revised NGC learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with Course Managers, Branch Chiefs, Curriculum Advisors, and learning development stakeholders to ensure course continuity, quality, and alignment with approved curriculum.
