As a Foundation Business Consultant at Sequoia, you’ll play a critical role in developing meaningful client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction, and delivering value at every step. You will: Conduct initial discovery and sales meetings (approximately one per day) and onboard 1–2 new clients each month Design, implement, and support Sequoia One’s HR outsourcing programs for both new and existing clients Lead and guide prospects through a consultative sales process and help drive confident decision-making Present tailored PEO market analysis to clients and prospects, positioning Sequoia One as a trusted partner Collaborate closely with Client Service Managers to ensure a smooth implementation and enrollment process Provide ongoing consultative support to clients, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in consultative sales, business development, or client advisory roles—preferably in HR, benefits, SaaS, or PEO services
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate complex solutions with clarity and confidence
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to meet with clients face-to-face
  • Passion for helping startups and growth-stage companies solve real business challenges through people-first solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
