About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Foundation Drill Rig Operator to join one of our valued client partners. We are seeking a safety-focused heavy equipment professional with extensive experience operating foundation drilling equipment in demanding construction environments. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision work, equipment performance, productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of jobsite safety. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to execute drilling operations efficiently while supporting deep foundation, ground stabilization, and site development projects. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, sound judgment, and a proven track record of operating heavy equipment in challenging field conditions. The Foundation Drill Rig Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment used in foundation construction, earth retention systems, and site support applications. This role requires close coordination with project teams to ensure drilling operations are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating foundation drill rigs or comparable heavy construction equipment.
Proven experience working on foundation construction, drilling, earth retention, sitework, or related construction projects.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment performance issues.
Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards.
Ability to read and interpret project specifications, plans, and field instructions.
Experience performing routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
Strong understanding of drilling operations and production requirements.
Ability to work safely in changing weather and field conditions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to report to project locations as required.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
No current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

Nice To Haves

Four to five years of foundation drill rig operating experience.
Experience supporting large-scale civil construction, deep foundation, or infrastructure projects.
Experience operating multiple types of drilling equipment and heavy machinery.
Advanced troubleshooting and equipment maintenance experience.
Experience working alongside geotechnical, foundation, or site development teams.
OSHA certifications or construction-related safety training.
Strong record of safe equipment operation and jobsite performance.
Demonstrated employment stability and progressive field experience.
Ability to mentor less experienced operators and field personnel.

Responsibilities

Setting up, inspecting, and operating foundation drilling equipment for construction projects.
Executing drilling operations according to engineering plans, project requirements, and field conditions.
Monitoring drilling performance and adjusting operations to maintain productivity and accuracy.
Performing pre-shift inspections and routine equipment maintenance.
Identifying mechanical concerns and coordinating repairs when necessary.
Reading project plans, layouts, and specifications related to drilling operations.
Maintaining compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and jobsite regulations.
Communicating effectively with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and field personnel.
Documenting daily production activities, equipment performance, and completed work.
Supporting site operations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Assisting with equipment mobilization, demobilization, and operational readiness.
