About You The ideal Foundation Repair Technician member candidate: Is an upbeat and positive person bringing a can-do attitude to work everyday Is comfortable working in confined spaces and/or outside for extended periods of time Can work with minimal supervision Works cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team Is quality and safety driven Is detail oriented What You’ll Do The Wood Technician team member is vital to the successful completion of customer projects and must professionally represent Moisture Loc at all times. A typical day will include the following: Traveling ON TIME to the office with a reliable vehicle Traveling ON TIME to scheduled projects using a company vehicle Installing Helical Piers Installing Wall Anchors Installing carbon fiber straps and carbon fiber stitch welds Performing Crack Injections, miscellaneous yard drainage, and minor crawlspace repairs Operating power tools, saws, cutting tools, drills and jacks Accurately following the scope of work and being able to read structural drawings Following OSHA regulations, building codes and company safety protocols Education & Experience Previous experience in foundation repair preferred, particularly in the fields of Construction and Home Improvement Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment Knowledge of building codes Requirements Ability to pass pre-employment screening including a background check Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Able to start work at 7am and work to 5pm Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday Nature of Work / Conditions Work is typically performed on all types of foundations and can include working in tight spaces and under houses Work requires constant movement, is strenuous, physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, lifting up to 50 lbs., loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment for prolonged periods Compensation This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation.
