About The Position

Transmission Foundation Laborer 1 is an entry level position in construction, with the primary function to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while supporting the overall project. This role involves performing rigorous physical labor, understanding the proper use and maintenance of hand tools, and possessing a basic knowledge of materials used in line work. The employee must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather, and follow company safety rules and policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English
• Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs
• Willing to work overtime when requested
• Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies

Responsibilities

• Spot tools and material
• Assist with truck and equipment set up; strip forms
• Perform cleanup and other miscellaneous tasks
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor
• Understand the proper use and maintenance of hand tools
• Capable of receiving and following directions
• Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in line work
• Understand when to wear personal protective equipment
• Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather
• Perform all other related work as required to complete the job
