About The Position

Journey Through Life Foundation (JTLF) is a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening families through structured programs that foster emotional resilience, personal development, and positive life outcomes. JTLF provides underserved children with access to safe environments, trusted mentors, enriching experiences, and the community connections they need to thrive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Nonprofit, Business, or related)
• 2+ yrs in nonprofit, operations, or program management
• Grant writing or fundraising track record
• Strong organizational & leadership skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities & deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage daily ops, logistics & program coordination
• Develop workflows, policies & procedures
• Oversee budgets, scheduling & vendor relationships
• Ensure nonprofit compliance & reporting
• Coordinate community events & outreach
• Track participation & engagement metrics
• Supervise volunteers & program staff
• Research foundation, corporate & government grants
• Write proposals, LOIs & funder reports
• Develop sponsorships & community partnerships
• Support campaigns, drives & fundraising events
• Manage submission pipeline & deadlines
• Cultivate and retain donor relationships
