Foundation Development Associate (1.0 FTE/Days)
About The Position
The Development Associate I supports Franciscan Health Foundation fundraising efforts by coordinating donor engagement, annual giving activities, events, and stewardship. The role manages a small donor portfolio, carries out annual fund campaigns and events, and assists with communications and database updates in accordance with established protocols. The associate also represents the Foundation within Franciscan Health and in the community, attends civic and service group meetings, helps coordinate volunteers, and participates in internal presentations such as new employee orientation.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in marketing/communications, fundraising, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in fundraising, communications, and/or public relations.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate annual fund and employee giving activities.
- Plan and execute events.
- Support donor stewardship through notes, calls, and giving clubs.
- Assist with communications, including approved email newsletters and direct response efforts.
- Participate in community and internal engagement, including civic groups, volunteer coordination, and new employee orientation.
- Manage a personal donor portfolio.
- Update databases and track information using existing reports and dashboards.
