About The Position

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a Development Database Manager to join their Development (Fundraising) team in Albany, NY. This role involves administering the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT/FENXT database, ensuring data quality, consistent entry procedures, and optimizing database functionality for prospecting and reporting. The Development Database Manager will collaborate with event planners, campaign managers, and the finance team to manage gift entry, fund allocation, and track donor pledges and payments.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required.
• Four (4) years of related experience using Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge fundraising management system or similar fundraising database software will be accepted in lieu of the Associates degree.
• 1 year of job-related experience required, specifically in an administrative or business role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to learn new windows-based programs – including online auction and P2P fundraising platforms that integrate with the Development database.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of job-related experience preferred, specifically in managing a complex database and/or non-profit development work.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT/FENXT database.
• Ensure quality control and consistent data entry procedures.
• Optimize database functionality for prospecting and reporting.
• Organize and maintain all aspects of the donor database, including accurate gift entry, fund allocation, and tracking donors’ pledges and payments.
• Work closely with event planners, campaign managers, and the finance team.
