Woodfords' Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Program provides treatment-level foster care for children and youth ages 3–21 with developmental and/or emotional disabilities who are unable to live with their biological families. Through the dedication of trained foster parents and a collaborative treatment team, children and teens receive the guidance and support they need to navigate emotional, social, behavioral, and learning challenges—with the ultimate goal of family reunification and lifelong skill development. The Foster Family Support Worker plays a vital role in supporting the family unit by providing one-on-one support to foster children in both home and community settings. This position focuses on promoting independence in daily living skills, social interaction, communication, and positive behavior management. This role requires the use of applied therapeutic interventions and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with foster families and treatment team members.
