This role involves interpreting and applying laws, policies, and regulations related to resource family homes, foster care, adoption, and child protective services. The coordinator will maintain a general knowledge of child welfare policies and principles, complete Mutual Family Assessments and reassessments, and ensure licensing standards for all resource homes are met. Responsibilities include accurate documentation of licensing status, engaging in resource family retention activities, and coordinating recruitment efforts to ensure a sufficient quantity and quality of licensed resource homes. The role also involves maintaining and implementing an annual recruitment plan, coordinating PRIDE and other ancillary trainings, and performing case management for all resource family homes.
