Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of two years experience with a child placing, adoption, or foster care organization
  • Must be familiar with Foster Care Licensing and Placing Agency requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee foster parent licensing and re-licensing, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory standards and approving applications/home studies.
  • Lead recruitment and marketing strategy for foster parents and the Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program, including development of materials.
  • Manage training, development, and ongoing support for foster parents, including identifying needs and coordinating programs.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for foster parent issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and represent the program to drive overall effectiveness and growth.
