Manages a staff of Licensing Coordinators/Specialists to ensure overall and ongoing program compliance with required and licensing standards when recertifying host home provider families. Supervises four or more fulltime employees. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below. In conjunction with the quality improvement team, ensures that host/foster home provider families meet or exceed certification and recertification competencies as required by state licensing and accreditation standards, as well as MENTOR operating policies. Prepares for certification/recertification reviews and audits; develops and implements corrective action plans in response to findings of non-compliance and technical assistance. Ensures that all steps in the review of contractual compliance and re-evaluation process are completed and documented as required, including but not limited to home studies, home study updates and amendments, physical environment evaluation, mentor files, investigations related to licensing issues, and communicates concerns and recommendations to operations management. Collects and analyzes data, completes documentation reviews, and generates reports and makes applicable recommendations on items including but not limited to compliance, mentor skill development, mentor retention, rule violations, external investigations. Interacts with representatives from licensing and certification entities to ensure compliance. Serves as a subject-matter expert for operations leadership and foster home assessors regarding regulations. Completes ongoing training as required by the state or regulatory agency. Performs other related duties and activities as required.
