About The Position
Service Alternatives is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated, and energetic applicant to fill the Foster Care Licenser position in Burlington, WA. This role involves providing high-quality service to foster children, as well as recruiting, training, and certifying foster homes. The position is part-time with a wage of $23-$24 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field.
- Clear criminal history and pass a background check.
- Be at least 21 or older.
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- TB Test (within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site).
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in social services or counseling.
- Experience in maintaining a positive relationship with Licensing Division, foster children and their families.
- Experience in social services.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality service to all foster children.
- Recruit, train, and certify foster homes.
- Develop and implement a recruiting plan for foster families within the area.
- Interview and assess potential foster parents and members of their household.
- Work with Licensing Division to ensure on-going compliance with licensing requirements.
