Foster Care/Host Home Provider
About The Position
Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life by becoming a Foster Care / Host Home Provider. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. The provider will offer a safe and comfortable home, ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. The ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual housed and supported is essential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
- Ensure the basic physical and emotional needs of the individual.
- Establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual.
- Successfully complete trainings through Community Options.
- Be open to supervisory visits in your home.
