About The Position

Monadnock Humane Society is looking for a compassionate part-time Foster Care Coordinator to join their team in Swanzey, NH. Requirements

1+ years of customer service experience
Experience leading people-focused programs
Accurate record keeping and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and email
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professionalism, courtesy, tact, and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

At least one year of animal handling experience
At least one year of customer service experience
At least one year of experience in shelter environments
At least one year of experience leading people-focused programs

Responsibilities

Serve as the central connection between foster families, shelter staff, and animals in need.
Welcome new foster home providers.
Coordinate placements of foster candidates into appropriate homes.
Maintain ongoing communication with foster families, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
Monitor vaccination and deworming schedules to keep animals healthy.
Oversee new and annual home inspections.
Maintain accurate records, including applications, contracts, inspection documents, and contact information.
