About The Position

TDS Global Solutions is building a specialized Forward Deployed Engineering & Applied AI Talent Network to connect highly technical, customer-facing engineers with current and future opportunities across high-growth technology, AI, SaaS, and venture-backed organizations. The network is intended for professionals who work at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, and customer delivery, and who can understand business problems, architect solutions, build production-grade software, and work directly with customers to deliver those solutions.

Candidates may be considered for confidential current and upcoming searches at organizations ranging from startups and venture-backed technology companies to established enterprise technology organizations. Requirements

• Hands-on software engineering and development of production-grade applications.
• Experience with customer-facing technical implementations, integrations, or deployments.
• Experience building and deploying AI, Generative AI, LLM, agentic AI, conversational AI, or Voice AI solutions.
• Full-stack development experience using technologies such as Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Node.js, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, distributed systems, data infrastructure, or real-time applications.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong technical depth, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and directly with customers and technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within venture-backed startups, high-growth technology companies, AI organizations, or complex enterprise software environments.
• Experience with technologies and areas including Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI Agents, Agentic AI, RAG, Conversational AI, Voice AI, NLP, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and production AI infrastructure.
• Experience with technical discovery, solution architecture, customer deployments, technical consulting, implementation, or proofs of concept.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex customer business problems and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Architect, build, and deploy production-grade software and AI solutions.
• Work directly with customers and technical stakeholders on discovery, implementations, integrations, and deployments.
• Take ownership of solutions from discovery through production deployment.
• Translate lessons from customer engagements into improvements across Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
