About The Position
This role focuses on Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) who are sourced from various companies including Saronic Technologies, AnySignal, Physical Intelligence, Corridor AI, and Shield AI. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and can be located anywhere in the United States. Different archetypes of FDEs exist, including Defense/Maritime FDE, Robotics/Autonomy FDE, Palantir Alumni FDE, Software Generalist FDE, and UAS/Comms Field Engineer, each with specific prior employers, educational backgrounds, and key qualifications.

- Palantir FDE program graduate — highest signal profile
- Ex-Navy officers with CS/EE backgrounds
Responsibilities
- Shipboard ops or DoD field deployment experience
- Hands-on robot deployment and live software debugging
- Customer-facing engineering and live system operations
- UAS operator cert or RF systems field experience
