Forward Deployed Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton•Arlington, VA

About The Position

Booz Allen’s team develops and delivers commercial-grade AI platforms and applications for critical missions across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, civilian agencies, and commercial organizations. Working at the intersection of cyber and AI, the team builds solutions for defensive cyber operations, counter-AI, intelligence, agentic AI, and cyber defense. The work may include shaping strategy, architecting solutions, integrating Booz Allen and commercial products into customer environments, supporting presales and customer success, and leading forward-deployed engineering activities that integrate AI solutions into production settings. Team members may partner with industry leaders through strategic collaborations and go-to-market initiatives, and establish reusable approaches for government customers to adopt secure, scalable AI capabilities as shared services. The Forward Deployed Engineer deploys and configures an enterprise defense against AI attackers, providing precise alerts of agentic threats and extreme denial of AI capabilities. The role works directly with customers to understand technical environments, implement containerized components and playbooks, and integrate with existing security tools. The engineer troubleshoots deployments, validates system performance, and translates customer feedback into product and operational improvements.
