About The Position

As one of the earliest engineering hires, you'll directly influence customer deployments, product direction, and engineering strategy while working closely with founders and enterprise customers. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll own customer implementations from technical discovery through production deployment while partnering closely with engineering, product, and enterprise customers to solve complex financial infrastructure problems. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of software engineering or Forward Deployed Engineering experience
  • Experience shipping production software used by external customers
  • Experience owning customer-facing technical deployments from implementation through production
  • Experience working in high-growth startups, Big Tech, or technically rigorous engineering organizations
  • Experience translating customer business problems into technical engineering solutions
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Startup experience or early-stage company exposure strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ownership of customer-facing engineering initiatives
  • Strong TypeScript and/or Python engineering skills
  • Experience building production software and customer-facing technical solutions
  • Experience with enterprise API integrations and distributed systems
  • Experience integrating ERP systems, banking platforms, financial data pipelines, or enterprise infrastructure
  • Familiarity with AI-powered products, LLM workflows, or intelligent automation platforms
  • Experience working with modern backend technologies including Next.js, Prisma, MySQL, and cloud infrastructure preferred
  • Strong debugging, systems integration, and software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience working with authentication, networking, security, and enterprise data exchange
  • Strong understanding of technical deployment lifecycle and production support
  • Ability to rapidly learn complex enterprise customer environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field required
  • Strong technical background from a respected engineering program preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical deployments for enterprise customers from integration planning through production go-live
  • Build and configure enterprise data integrations connecting banking systems, ERP platforms, APIs, and financial infrastructure
  • Translate complex customer business requirements into scalable engineering solutions
  • Partner directly with enterprise finance teams to understand operational workflows and deployment requirements
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to prioritize customer-driven product improvements
  • Troubleshoot production integration issues involving banking data, payment systems, authentication, and enterprise workflows
  • Design scalable deployment processes supporting rapid enterprise customer onboarding
  • Build internal automation and tooling improving deployment efficiency and customer implementations
  • Leverage AI-powered engineering workflows and LLM technologies throughout deployment and product development
  • Work alongside Deployment Strategists to ensure successful customer implementations and long-term adoption
  • Influence product roadmap by identifying recurring customer pain points and scalable platform improvements
  • Own customer deployment initiatives from technical scoping through successful production launch
