About The Position

When sales closes a platform / marketplace deal that needs payments infra moved to Whop, someone has to take it off the AE's plate and drive the technical integration to completion. This role is embedded between customer and product, building custom vertical integrations that are not core engineering's job. The ideal candidate is an end-to-end individual that wants full ownership and to move fast. This role is for cracked eng-operators who sit with customers.

Requirements

• Founder / ex-founder who built and integrated payments or marketplace infra themselves (or made 7 figures shipping product)
• Customer-facing engineer (FDE, Solutions Eng, Founding Eng) with years shipping with customers — API/automation/integrations fluent
• Technical operator who can write code, live in Cursor/Claude, and sit with platform eng teams without a translator
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership.
• Willingness to be in-person in NYC/Brooklyn, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical integration of platform/marketplace deals to completion.
• Build custom vertical integrations between customers and Whop's platform.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers and the product team.
• Write code and collaborate with platform engineering teams.
