About The Position

This is a forward deployed role that focuses on three key areas: securing technical wins for the company's product, embedding within major customer deployments to drive adoption, and acting as a public voice for the company within the data community. The role involves deeply learning the company's platform, conducting technical evaluations with prospects and partners, building initial analyses in customer environments, and sharing learnings through content such as talks, videos, and how-to guides. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics, AI, customer success, and building a public presence.

Requirements

Senior-level experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, analytics engineering, or a technical field role owning the technical win.
Real fluency with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and the modern data stack (dbt, semantic layers, analytics engineering workflow).
Strong SQL and a working understanding of how analytics is built, governed, and broken within a company.
A visible instinct to teach and share, and a genuine appetite to build a public voice under your own name.
Comfort with pre-GA ambiguity and the drive to build a function from scratch.
Belief in AI-native analytics and excitement about accelerating analysts.
Customer obsession, taking customer frustrations personally and preferring to solve real problems.
Comfort with pre-GA environments, lack of a playbook, and a moving product.
Passion for building a public voice through teaching and sharing.

Nice To Haves

An existing following or content footprint in the data community.
Background at a BI or analytics vendor.
Hands-on time as an analyst or analytics engineer.
Experience with a forward deployed or embedded delivery model at an early-stage company.

Responsibilities

Secure the technical win by deeply learning the platform and owning technical evaluations with prospects and partners.
Conduct demos, proofs of concept in real data environments (Snowflake, Databricks), and address architectural questions.
Embed in major customer deployments as a forward deployed analyst, modeling data, building initial analyses, and driving adoption.
Act as a public voice for the company by sharing learnings with the data community through talks, videos, and how-tos.
Collaborate with product teams to communicate new releases and features with practical, credible perspectives.
Build the technical win by creating discovery-driven demos, proofs of concept, and handling technical objections.
Establish the forward deployed motion for enterprise accounts, ensuring modeling, deployment, and adoption.
Serve as a two-way bridge to product and engineering, relaying evaluation and deployment friction and roadmap information.
Create content such as blog posts, training videos, teardowns, and worked examples.
Build the company's presence in the wild through webinars, community threads, meetups, and stage presentations.
Develop the forward deployed foundation, including demo environments, POC playbooks, and a scalable engagement model.
