About The Position

NIQ is establishing forward-deployed AI teams that will embed with major consumer and retail clients. These teams will build AI-powered decision applications using NIQ data combined with client data, aiming to deliver working software within weeks and measure success based on client business results. The AI Deployment Architect is a key role within these teams, responsible for identifying high-leverage problems, understanding client business needs deeply, and ensuring the developed solutions are adopted and integrated into the client's operations. This role requires a domain expert who understands organizational dynamics, working closely with engineers and data scientists.

Requirements

  • Over 4 years of experience in roles closely related to commercial operations, such as consulting, category or revenue growth management, insights, customer success, or solutions delivery.
  • Domain expertise in CPG, retail, or consumer/commercial data.
  • Proven ability to influence busy operators to change their working methods.
  • Skilled in structured communication, capable of transforming complex discussions into clear requirements and decisions.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, on client sites, and in high-level decision-making meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in forward-deployed or embedded teams.
  • Experience in early-stage products focused on achieving product-market fit.
  • Familiarity with NIQ/GfK data.
  • Familiarity with retail measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with client teams to identify the most impactful problems where improved data can significantly alter outcomes.
  • Analyze and map current workflows to understand decision-making processes, bottlenecks, and long-standing issues.
  • Translate complex business realities into clear requirements for engineering and data science teams, ensuring focus on key metrics.
  • Lead adoption and change management efforts on the ground, including user onboarding and addressing user concerns to foster acceptance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the client, managing expectations, facilitating working sessions, and identifying future opportunities while current projects are ongoing.
