Requirements
- 4 to 7+ years of experience in Data lifecycle engineering
- Development and maintenance of extract, transform and load (ETL) tools and services
- Cloud and on-prem data storage and processing solutions
- Python, SQL, Spark and other data engineering programming
- COTS and open source data engineering tools such as ElasticSearch and NiFi
- Palantir Foundry
- Agile / Scrum
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance required
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize Data Pipelines using Spark, Apache Iceberg, EMR cloud services, and Kubernetes containers.
- Support offices in other data platforms.
- Ensure the pedigree and provenance of the data is maintained to protect data access.
- Clean and preprocess data to enable access for advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with enterprise working groups to advance the state of data standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team, data stewards, and mission partners to extract actionable value from data holdings.
- Collaborate with software engineers to update, configure, and maintain data services based on requirements.
- Conduct quarterly analysis and provide recommendations for data tools that support data functions in new environments and other services.
- Provide support, including administration and performance tuning of data tools, to maintain currency for continuous RMA efforts.
