Formulations Technician
About The Position
In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP guidelines and all regulatory standards, performs, interprets, troubleshoots and documents laboratory tests and procedures in a production environment, including a wide variety of analytical testing using manual and automated methods and procedures. Performs calibration on production equipment. Documents test results/procedures/processes. May write experiment reports, summaries and protocols. Formulate products in a safe, compliant manner to published SOPs, WI, and recipes. Primary formulation specialist for large tank formulations, in excess of 100-2000 L fill volume. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a scientific, lab-based major.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience using analytical balances with limits in the sub-milligram range.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment and handling open chemicals.
- Prior formulation experience necessary.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
