About The Position

This position is responsible for manually and mechanically cleaning equipment in the Formulation area while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role involves scraping, chiseling, and brushing equipment surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming powder material, and maintaining a clean work area. The operator will also gain knowledge of the mechanical operation of the Soft Line and have the ability to be trained on and operate Formulation equipment. Performing Lockout Tagout, handling chemicals, and wearing a respirator are key aspects of the job. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation.
  • Ability to become certified in Lockout Tagout.
  • Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Experience: N/A
  • Systems: Basic computer skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Direct communication.
  • Sense of urgency in completing work.
  • Capable of multitasking.
  • Work well both independently and with a team.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings.
  • Lift up to 60 lbs.

  • Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria.
  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
  • Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift.
  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift.
  • Steel toed boots.

  • Safety glasses.
  • High visibility vest.
  • Hard hat.
  • Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.).

Responsibilities

  • Scrape, chisel and brush all contact surfaces on Formulation equipment to remove material.
  • Sweep, vacuum and remove all powder material from equipment, floors, pipes, etc.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the mechanical operation of the Soft Line.
  • Ability to be trained on equipment operation within the Formulation area of the Soft Line (Formulation Operator).
  • Ability to operate Formulation equipment.
  • Perform Lockout Tagout.
  • Handle chemicals.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Utility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Wear a respirator full duration of shift.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
