Cleans and sanitizes Production and Formulation equipment (buckets, barrels, lids, utensils, hoses, augers, processor parts, production parts, etc.) with limited assembly and reassembly required. Maintains and cleans Sanitation areas. This role is responsible for following all Plant Policies, Safety Policies, Procedures and Regulations (including but not limited to FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, Lock Out Tag Out, Required PPE). The technician will use excellent technological skills to use the copier and navigate programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and MasterControl. Excellent communication skills are required, including the ability to read and follow instructions, write detailed explanations of work performed, and communicate professionally between supervisors, shifts, and departments regarding process changes or delays. The role involves accurately maintaining all equipment and other cleaning logs, cleaning and maintaining sanitation areas and hallways, and performing sanitation using hot water, cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, and vacuums to maintain a clean and safe environment. Active participation in meetings, safety programs, personal development, and company improvements is expected. The technician will be responsible for driving a forklift and scissor lift safely and under control in tight spaces and high traffic areas. The ability to work well under pressure and multi-task as demand necessitates is crucial. High personal and team performance is expected, with an ability to work without direct supervision. The technician will take responsibility for all equipment cleaned in sanitation, ensuring proper cleaning procedures are followed and equipment functions within set parameters. Other duties in the facility may be assigned as needed.
