About The Position

The Formstripper works as a member of a team to remove product from used forms. This role is highly supervised, with tasks typically assigned, and the individual will work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to use standard construction tools
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of previous general construction experience

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift
• Collect and prepare materials as needed
• Uncover forms
• Break forms down without damage to product or form
• Perform or assist with dry finish of product as needed
• Remove product from form and place on trailer using overhead crane
• Set up, use, and remove rigging to move product
• Read shop tickets to determine dunnage usage and placement
• Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand and power tools
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
