About The Position
The form setter builds wood and/or metal forms for the construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters and other concrete structures.
Requirements
- Basic carpentry skills
- Ability to read construction plans an asset
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Work overtime as required
Nice To Haves
- Direct bridge construction experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Build and lay out forms as required according to specifications with the ability to make calculations depending on grades
- Fill form with fill material and compact with tamper or compactor to bring to required grade
- Clean work site of any tools, debris and equipment
