About The Position

Sabert is seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Operator who is willing to learn and work closely with a team to meet safety, quality, and production expectations. The operator leads and directs packers assigned to the production cell as needed, and is expected to focus on quality and customer needs.

This role operates thermoforming lines and supporting automation equipment, makes process adjustments to produce quality products, monitors line settings, temperatures, and pressures, and helps ensure efficient production. The operator also follows safety and GMP rules, completes production paperwork, oversees quality, and maintains housekeeping in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Start up and operate thermoforming lines.
• Make process adjustments necessary to produce a quality product.
• Operate and adjust supporting automation equipment, including the lip roller and bagger.
• Coordinate and direct packers assigned to the line to ensure efficient production.
• Monitor line set points, temperatures, and pressures to keep production running at standard rates.
• Work according to all Safety and GMP rules.
• Complete production paperwork and oversee quality.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
