About The Position

Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Formation Operator. Responsible for the efficient running of Formation on 2nd shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location. Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing experience helpful.
May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, and mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards
Adheres to company quality and safety requirements
Must wear required PPE
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Responsibilities

Performing chemical preparation materials used in the manufacturing process
Working with a variety of automatic and semi auto machines and equipment, while following process specifications at all times; immerse into solution tanks for prescribed time and remove all at completion cycle
Read meters and perform math calculations and adhere to specific instructions
Makes minor but sensitive changeovers and set ups with required extreme accuracy
Visually inspects parts for conformance to specifications and records data on lot traveler ticket
Communicate process specifics/issues to Engineers/Technicians
