About The Position

Kokosing is seeking a full-time Carpenter for its Concrete Form Shop in Monroe, OH. This role involves building and maintaining vertical forming systems used by Kokosing and its affiliated companies. Responsibilities include assembling and disassembling steel and wood concrete forms, cleaning and repairing forming systems, pulling orders, and prefabricating jobsite items like shelving, trailer buildouts, stairs, and roofing systems. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years carpentry experience (commercial or residential)
• Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately build projects from a set of plans
• Ability to safely and accurately use a variety of hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, table saws, bandsaws, routers, etc.)
• Work independently, as well as within a group
• Work rapidly and accurately with hands
• Ability to safely work from elevated or crouched positions, or on knees as required
• Lift and carry objects weighing 50-70 pounds
• Follow specific directions
• Stand and walk for long periods
• Can accurately read a tape measure and understand fabrication drawings

Responsibilities

• Assembly and disassembly of steel and wood concrete forms
• Cleaning and repair of different forming systems
• Pulling orders
• Prefabrication of jobsite related items (shelving, trailer buildouts, stairs, roofing systems, etc.)
• Build concrete forms
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Load and unload equipment and supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform other routine duties as directed by the Foreman
