About The Position

The Form Line Operator will manage Line 3 operations to achieve maximum run time, product quality, and raw product recovery while meeting safety, quality, and production goals. The role involves monitoring and maintaining processing systems and equipment, coordinating with shift support personnel, and keeping the work area sanitary and supplied with materials. The operator must be able to read and understand training and job-related materials, complete paperwork in a timely manner, and work independently with minimal supervision. The position is located at the GF Plant in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must have successfully completed the Job Skill Evaluation.
Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and calculate percentages to make required adjustments.
Must have an acceptable safety record.
Must have an acceptable attendance record.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Monitor the blancher circulation system and flush or unplug it as necessary.
Check all equipment in the area to ensure it is fully functional.
Notify Team Leaders, mechanics, and other shift support personnel about changes in Line 3 conditions.
Utilize scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
Monitor the weigh belt, blancher, quencher, fryer, and freezer systems in Wonderware.
Operate the oil system safely and correctly to maintain proper filtration and free fatty acid (FFA) levels.
Prepare additives and monitor their flow into the transfer system.
Perform fry-ups and take Agtron color measurements to make necessary color adjustments.
Maintain a sanitary work area to prevent product contamination and support efficient operations, including start-up and major sanitation.
Perform bi-weekly major cleanup.
Ensure materials are supplied for all equipment on the line.
