The Form Fabrication Specialist is responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders to fabricate, assemble, and install forms, molds, and templates according to project requirements. This role involves measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting wood and composite materials with precision, as well as operating hand tools, power tools, and a straight mast forklift safely and efficiently. The specialist will also be responsible for material handling, layout work, quality inspection, repair, maintenance, and potentially mentoring junior fabricators. Coordination with supervisors and production teams is essential to meet project schedules and deadlines, while strictly adhering to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, tracking materials, and documenting completed work are also key aspects of the position. The role may also involve assisting with loading/unloading, troubleshooting fabrication issues, and performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
