About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Form Carpenters for projects located in or around Alcoa, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $27/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Must have 4+years of commercial or industrial form carpentry experience
- Must have all basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, level, square, tool belt, etc.)
- Must have proper PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, steel toe boots, safety glasses)
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a background check to work on government facilities
Responsibilities
- Constructing, installing, and repairing form-work for concrete structures, walls, columns, slabs, and foundations
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Setting and stripping concrete forms for structural concrete ensuring accuracy
- Setting and aligning forms to proper elevation and grade
- Tying rebar and assisting with concrete pours as needed
- Striping forms and cleaning/preparing for reuse
