About The Position

Owens Corning is seeking dynamic individuals to join their local team in North Platte, NE. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting product and raw materials within the manufacturing facility. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, verification of tickets, and performing pre-operational forklift inspections. The team member will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior forklift operation in manufacturing environment.
Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.
Must read and write English.
Ability to multi-task.
Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transport product, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility.
Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner.
Transfer doors from paint line to wrapper/staging area.
Stage and stack painted doors in a safe, easily accessible manner.
Verify tickets match the doors prior to placing them in the wrapper/staging area.
Conduct pre-operational forklift inspection.
Clean and maintain the forklift.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
