About The Position
Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment. This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel)
- Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
- Travel to various customer sites to service different machines
- Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
- Log service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team
