About The Position
Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician to service, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment for their customers. This role offers a variety of work as technicians travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment safety and compliance with standards. Accurate record-keeping of work performed is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in forklift or heavy equipment repair (electric, propane, diesel)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Safety focus
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment in top shape
- Travel to customer sites to service equipment
- Ensure equipment is safe and meets standards
- Keep accurate records of work performed
