As a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician, you will repair and maintain electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and/or cherry pickers. You will follow manuals and use hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of electrical, power transmission, brake, and other mechanical systems. This role involves managing the repair of MHE, including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You will conduct preventive maintenance (PM's) within manufacturer's guidelines/specifications and established timelines, including oil changes, filter changes, calibration of equipment, belts changes, inspections, adjustments, and lubrication. The position requires logging time and materials into a computerized maintenance management system and interpreting plans, specifications, schematics, and operating/maintenance manuals. You will also assist battery technicians with charger repairs, battery changes, repair of plugs and tips, watering and washing batteries, and acid spill cleanup. Additionally, you will support building and refrigeration maintenance teams with general building repairs, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, and refrigeration systems repair and maintenance.
