Join us and make an impact each day you work. Overview To transport product adequately and efficiently, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility. Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner. Employees are cooperative and willing to apply their skills in a variety of venues by rotating positions as needed to achieve success.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED preferred
Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Forklift knowledge and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have ability to multi-task
Ability to lift to 50+ lbs.
Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service
Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written

Nice To Haves

Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting
Intermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, with fast and accurate data entry skills

Responsibilities

Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shipping
Stages for shipping once wrapped
Conduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational compliance
Fuel forklifts as required
Provide safe operation of forklift throughout the facility. Abide by all safety rules and regulations required with forklift operation.
Pull all production wrap lines as required
Consolidate all orders for shipping
Receive items into the facility/Ships all items correct to the customer
Pay attention to detail when pulling items from Warehouse based on work order
Must be able to work extended hours and overtime as needed both daily and on weekends if business need requires
Replace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environment
Must understand all shipping documents in order to understand the space required for product
Will also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job description
