About The Position

Maybury, a Crown forklift dealer, is seeking to expand its team of Road Service Technicians across Connecticut. This role involves traveling from home to customer sites (warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing) to maintain and repair forklifts. The company offers comprehensive training, allowing technicians to develop skills in servicing various material handling equipment, including conveyors, dock equipment, and high-speed doors. The position offers steady, year-round Monday-Friday work with opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an auto or diesel mechanic, or similar experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as electrical wiring/hydraulic schematics and procedure manuals.
  • Intermediate Windows, email, and internet skills.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving history.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair forklifts at customer locations.
  • Service other types of material handling equipment such as conveyors, dock equipment, and high-speed doors.
  • Travel from home directly to customer sites.
