About The Position

Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Forklift Repair Technician to support its Upper Marlboro, Maryland location and surrounding areas. The technician will diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain forklifts, pallet trucks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts while providing courteous, professional service and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards. The position offers hourly compensation of $25.00 to $40.00, based on experience, and benefits including a company vehicle with fuel card and company cell phone. Eastern Lift Truck Co. is a family-owned company with more than 50 years of experience providing sales, parts, rentals, and service in the lift truck, material handling, and allied product business.

Requirements

• Prior experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Stable work history.
• Dependable, self-motivated professional.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a road mechanic.
• Welding or fabricating experience.
