About The Position

This position mainly operates a forklift to move mattress components from the receiving trailers to the storage racks and to move pallets of mattress encases from the encase department to the mattress assembly area. This position may also be responsible for pushing or pulling wheeled carts of welded mattress spring units to designated staging areas. These duties are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties or responsibilities associated with this job. Other duties, as required, may be assigned by the Department Supervisor.

Requirements

• Continuous sitting while operating forklift.
• Frequent repetitive use of hands and arms while operating the forklift.
• Frequent repetitive use of legs while operating the forklift.
• Occasional mounting and dismounting the forklift.
• Occasional pushing and pulling of carts and horses to clear pathways for the forklift.
• Occasional walking while assisting the Line Loader.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of objects (components) up to 50 pounds.
