About The Position

Wilmar LLC, owner of Performance Tool and other brands, is a leading supplier of quality tools to major retailers and distributors. We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to pick customer orders or move product using cherry pickers. This is a safety-sensitive position due to the operation of heavy equipment and requires adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including pre-employment drug screening and potential testing. The role involves significant physical movement throughout the shift.

Requirements

One year order picking experience in a warehouse
High School Diploma or GED
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Ability to read and understand safety instructions, work orders, and written procedures in English
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to respond to common directions
Ability to effectively present information to employees for the purpose of clarification or training
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Fill customer orders and deliver them to the packing area or loading dock
Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence
Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method
Repair bins as required
Ensure that the work area and warehouse are clean and clutter-free at all times
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing and using the proper safety equipment
Wear the proper personal protective equipment
Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures
Perform duties as workload necessitates
Communicate regularly with the Warehouse Managers or Inventory Control on problems with stock location size and changes requested by Wilmar employees
Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
