2nd Shift Forklift/Order Picker
About The Position
This is a full-time, 2nd shift position for an order picker/forklift operator responsible for safely and efficiently operating a stand-up forklift to pull materials. The role involves using RF scanning equipment to pull product, create stackable pallets, and wrap them for shipping. The position requires consistent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and squatting for extended periods. The order picker will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, accurately performing cycle counts, and assembling customer orders according to specific requirements.
Requirements
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and squatting consistently for long periods of times.
- Works accurately, paying close attention to detail.
- Demonstrates understanding of required standards of use with scanning equipment.
- Demonstrates understanding of and the ability of preparing a stackable pallet.
- Demonstrates understanding of and the ability to maintain the case per hour processing requirements.
- Forklift Experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in math

Responsibilities
- Operates stand up forklift to transport product to staging location.
- Uses RF scanning equipment to pull product and create stackable pallets.
- Uses a shrink-wrapping machine to wrap finished pallets.
- Disposes of all cardboard, plastic, and other shipping material, keeping the work area free of debris.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
- Completes all appropriate ISO documentation accurately and legibly.
- Accurately performs and completes cycle counts as scheduled.
- Assembles customer orders from stock, ensuring the exact number and type of product is selected and placed on pallets.
- Records amounts of material or items received or distributed by scanning the bar code or with written documentation and record all required data to turn in all paperwork.
- Assembles and marks items per customer requirements and moves them to the appropriate shipping location.
- Performs any other tasks as assigned.
