About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator for their 3rd shift. This role is essential in the logistics industry, responsible for moving stock within the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, and operating various types of powered equipment. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. DHL Supply Chain has been certified as a Great Place to Work® in the US and Canada.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a non climate controlled environment
• Unload and load trucks
• Cherry picker equipment
• Six months forklift operation experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience using an RF Scanner
• Previous forklift experience
• Previous case picking experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
